College Price Check helps families find out whether they're paying too much for college, then connects them with an advisor who can help. You run your own advising business. We bring you families, handle booking and payment, and pay you out.
How a booking happens
- A family finds your profile, either on College Price Check or through your own link.
- They book a 45-minute appointment on your calendar and pay College Price Check when they book.
- You meet with them and help them understand their costs, aid, and options.
- We pay you out for the appointment in our next payout.
You don't need your own Stripe account or payment setup. We collect payment from families on your behalf.
What it costs
There are two costs, and both are on our advisor page and in the Terms:
- Our margin and card processing. For each appointment, we keep 10% of the price plus card processing of 2.9% + 30¢. On a $100 appointment, you get $86.80.
- The technology and team fee. $99 per month, starting the day your profile goes live. No commitment. You can cancel anytime.
